Can female skins be submitted to the TF2 Workshop?
Because I would totally vote for them and purchase them in game if given the chance.

No. Last time somebody put a custom model on the TF2 workshop, it was marked incompatible.

Thats not how cosmetics work on tf2, i'm afraid.

you could probably get a model replacement as a skin for the ingmae engie, however.

It's a shame. I can understand not allowing custom models that totally deviate from the original (say, a pony model, for example), but female skins are generally pretty close to the male versions.

I wonder. If it's marked incompatible, does that prevent people from voting on it? There are quite a few people who want female skins, so even though it's marked incompatible if it gets enough votes maybe Valve would take it into consideration...

No, they probably won't ever be imported into the game.

Maybe being able to choose between multiple characters per class could be a feature of TF3. ;)
