Confusion with the tripping check

I am having trouble configuring this Mod. I don't want to hit a wall and instantly ragdoll, but I do want to hit a wall that is below my lower body to then TRIP. I'm not sure what any of the configurations mean (the number slider) to try getting what I want as it feels like im not getting results from the changes. please help!
