Many things that need to be fixed+ Add BLAHAJ
Dear @Toothy_Deerryte:

Oh well... There are still many things can be improved upon for this map, so here are the suggestion:

1. Gold is already rare to find, there is no need to make it rarer since the recent update made it harder to drop.
2. Increase animal spawn rate+decrease their health a bit, since they are also quite deadly for new players, but rarely seen for old players.
3. Add more NPC+Barter quest like ARID, Arid has one of the most useful Npc for their Barter and item trade can improve players playing experience and adding mare ways to obtain rare items, also, the Npc amount is still quite vacant compared to the size of the safezone.
4. Make Charcoal also able to smelt coals, since their only uses are filters and gunpowders, though useful but still not enough, to balance them, make them being use after smelt (unlike coal comes out with charcoal) and require more quantity for smelting one ore (5-10).
5. Add more quest and Dialogue for the Grim-chan (Or Anomaly-7), she still need more depth and interaction with the player even after the main quest being finished, since rn she is just a decoration standing there, with nothing to do other than enjoying the sky inside the factory (Like how).
6. More food, since we already got tons of spices, fruits and meat options, why not add more craftable food and blueprints for some of them (Unlockable from the granny)?
7. Revamp Dead Zone (S-7), since the only floor worth to loot is the 2nd floor, and it always cleared out soon in the server (Making pvpers suffer and camping in it, tks god im not one), to fix it, i highly suggest adding some new enemy types and even megas with good loots drops, making DZ much more worthy but also much dangerous to explore even with the 2nd floor armory being cleared out.
8. More guns and melees, no need for further explaintion.
9. More Locations and Easter eggs, like 8. above, but for more fun and place to loot.
10. Last but not Least, Rebalance (Most like decrease the materiel need) some recipes, such as bullet casings (Even in rl you dont need 20 bars of them to make 50 casing), bullet bags (100 Casings for only 60 rounds? Like where's the 40 casings goes?), and fuel barrel (38 iron is kinda too expensive for a barrel that only stores gas).
Those are all I can mention and suggest about, of course, there is another personal request i wish to see...
Since the next update will be the "Furniture Update", I wish we can have more decorations, like dolls, dishes, and stuffs to light up the mood, for me I wish to see the legacy of the Kuwait return: Blahaj! Such fluffy and goofy cutie should be added into the game, for who can resist a puffy sharkie like it on your cot? For how to obtain it, you can either make it fishable (Like Kuwait) or craftable (Researchable too), even bette, maybe add a quest for Snow, May, or Grim-san so you can gift them for interesting rewards! :steamhappy:
(For why i didnt post them in the Feedback, because there are too many suggestions and complaints there, that i have to make a separate post here so this wont be ignored or swarmed with replies)

1. Gold is a nice bonus if you find it while mining, so i don't really mind it being more rare. If I want to farm caps, i just grab the stuff off the tunnel walls.

4. While i agree that it would be nice to use charcoal instead of coal, I'm not sure if it's so wise in terms of balacning. If I could use charcoal instead, I just could de-forest the island for fuel.

Maybe leave stuff like gold/titan/sulfur requiring coal, but be able to smelt copper/silver/nickel/iron with charcoal?

6. More food is only worth it if it provides some utility we don't have right now.
I don't want another 10-20 recipies cluttering the crafting menu when i can just eat the stuff we have already.
I would only see it being usefull if you can turn the stuff either into cloth or medicine (like turn a bunch of vegtables into vitamins or cough-candy/medicin.)

7. Megas in deadzone could spawn in the test areas on the lower levels, giving them more purpose and makes it worth going deeper in.

8: I think there are already enought melee weapons.
In term of guns, I would like more types of shotguns, since the masterkey is not very good in PvE and i get so many ammoboxes, even from S-7 armories.

10. Copper is pretty easy to obtain, given that you can buy a stack for 500caps (just sell 100 cherry seeds, they are easy to grow)
Can agree, that the fuel storage seems a bit overprized.

Uh, you misread the 2. Part, i meant also making them usable for smelting....
And fruit/seed sale has been nerfed in this update, read the update log.
Other than that, i dont see problem about your questions
