How the Dwarf Music Player/Headphones Work(s)
Acquiring the Music Player & Audio Discs:
• Purchase the “Dwarf Music Player” from the Electronics Kiosk (the left-most vending kiosk aboard your upgraded T3+ dwarf player ship, right above the computer with the asteroid mining mini-game) for 5000 pixels.
• Acquire 2 or more Cybertech Credits, either by purchasing them from the Electronics Kiosk for 250 pixels each, or earn them by winning at either the “Dwarven Bar Brawl Bedlam” minigame (the computer in the Captain’s Quarters with the bouncing beer mug screensaver) or “Pilgrim in Peril: Kluex Quest VIII” (the right-most VR console in the bar/recreation area, i.e. the only one with yellow lights).
• Purchase any of the 11 audio disc blueprints at the top of the Cybertech Kiosk’s store menu.
• Use/learn the blueprint you just purchased. This will teach you a new basic crafting recipe which costs nothing to make, i.e. can be repeated infinitely for free. Locate the audio CD for the song you just learned in your basic crafting menu (press the ‘C’ key by default to bring up the basic crafting menu), and craft it.

Playing Music
• The Music Player is a headwear item that has a unique, custom augment slot similar to the augment slots on vanilla Environmental Protection Packs, or the Cyberware augment slots on all the dwarf armor added by this mod. However unlike those, the Music Player only accepts augments tagged as “Jams”, i.e. the audio disc you just crafted.
• Equip the Music Player; note that it MUST be in your actual head armor slot to function, NOT the vanity slot!
• Left click the audio disc in your inventory, before dragging it over the equipped Music Player, and then right click to slot the augment into the headphones.
• This will immediately apply a status effect to your character that plays the equipped song. The status effect is permanent so long as the headphones are equipped, and so the song will loop infinitely as long as you are wearing them.

Switching Songs
• By default, all dwarf players know a basic recipe to craft the ‘Dwarf Music Player’, but doing so requires a ‘Dwarf Music Player’ as the only crafting ingredient. While it might seem silly/redundant at first, this will allow you to clear the augment slot of your headphones without costing you anything, while also preventing you from crafting multiple Music Players for free to sell for profit. Because the audio discs are also free to craft once you learn the recipes, you can use this method to change songs without having to buy headphones for each individual track.
• With the Music Player either equipped or in your inventory, again pull up the basic crafting menu, and locate the ‘Dwarf Music Player’ recipe, and craft it.
• Purchase & craft a different audio disc blueprint as above, and then add it to your freshly cleared headphones.
• Congratulations! You have changed songs on your headphones! Rinse and repeat as often as you like, even in the middle of exploring a dungeon on some distant planet (since all of the recipes are by hand and so can be crafted anywhere).
