Uuh, i think you don't need to mount it to gmod. You just need to buy it and install.

I did not have to mount it. I bought the valve pack and just downloaded all the games and now i never have errors (except if another player has installed a model from the workshop that i have not ofcourse)

as in you didnt have to check a box in the controler icon in the lower right corner of the gmod menu?

you need to hit the fuse box in the parts and service room to actualy start them moving (the lights will go out if they are active)
