even as the sun is up i dont take damage unless i fly high up in the air, first time loading the world though this wanst an issue, still enjoying the challenge tho :steamthumbsup:

If you are in atmo env, reduce damage by dense of atmo. It means, your location have enough dense of atmo.
If not this case, plz tell me more.

ah ok i thought that meant you'd still take small amount of damage on the surface, weird it happened on first load though, on Pertam btw, thx

heyo, so after a few days and an edit in the config file (Reduction Ratio by Atmo=0) iv only encountered one bug, when underground there are small random areas where i take damage from the sun, even though there is zero sunlight reaching inside, i can fix this by placing grids over the ceiling in that area.

Windows should be provide protection. In my test, it work.

Could give me more info about your grid and location which have that bug?
If with screenshots, very helpful.

what kind of information about the grid are you after? its a station with a window room. its on earth and I hope this work since you cannot upload screenshots here https://gyazo.com/768d47e9900b12c340163b24486e935b It does go away after a short while though

If it happens whole area under that glass dome, show me more screenshots about your station.

I tested same structure window, 1x1 slope and flats holded with neon tubes, based on your picture.

It caused by a gap between 1x1 slope windows( as what i tested ). And, actual trace point of character located on left side hipe(a bit off from body polygon). Those things causes that bug at weird pos.

I can not solve gaps between windows, I will look into what I can.
Hey, so my small grid ship has base game window blocks (cockpit area is fully sealed) and I just took damage through my canopy. I am not using a cockpit block like Industrial or the cab cockpit. Including an image link for reference.

This mod doesn't seem to be compatible with Real Solar Systems and/or Real Stars. Is there any chance of changing that?

If so, is there any chance you could add a configurable variable to the calculation such as MaxDamageRange, such that any character within that range will receive normal max damage but it would be reduced at greater range? Like damage_cur / ( Distance_to_Star / MaxDamageRange ) ^ 2. People could configure it for infinite distance if they like gimmicks or factor in more realistic behavior for hard core survival
