(Unofficial) Stat Discussion
+ 5-10 pellets pro shot
+ Each pellet has the ability to deal headshot damage
+ increased clip size (Maybe to 4?)

- larger spread radius similar to the shotgun
- smaller magazine (Maybe 10-15 total?)
- slower reload

~ unique scope UI displaying a circle with the spread radius
~ upon charge you're able to tighten the radius up to a single point
~ pellets only able to deal headshot damage when scoped in

maybe make the spread stat a little smaller than the average shot/scatter gun since if there was a pocket medic with the other team, it would be completely countered if used on a fully charged shot due to said spread.

Reload button - weapon mode change
Mode #1 - Sniper riffle
Pros: On headshot:
Reload speed after headshot: -50%
Shotgun clip size in mode 2 headshot: +1 (increases to no more than 8 rounds)
Cons: -20% DMG on bodyshot
Shot charge time: -15%
Mode #2 - shotgun
ONLY AUTO-RELOAD
Clip size - 4
Shot speed - similar stock shotgun
DMG: -15% compared to stock shotgun
Mode change have own animation

Stats relative to stock shotgun:

+ 100% damage bonus
- 60% pellet count
+ 30% more accurate
+ 30% more accurate when scoped in
- 50% clip size
- 55% reserve ammo
- can mini crit on headshot
+ 100% damage when fully charged, charges in 1.7 seconds

This works out to:

4 pellets, each dealing 12 base damage for a total of 48
A 30% accuracy bonus that increases to 60% when scoped in
3 shots in the clip, and 15 in reserve
Mini crits on headshot
A 1.7 second charge time, with double damage on fully charged shots

This allows you to (assuming all pellets hit):

Deal 48 damage at base
Deal 72 damage at point blank range
Deal 144 damage on a crit
Deal 288 damage on a fully charged crit
Deal 96 damage with a base fully charged shot
Deal 144 damage with a point blank fully charged shot
Deal 65 damage on a base mini crit
Deal 97 damage on a point blank mini crit
Deal 130 damage with a base fully charged mini crit
Deal 194 damage with a point blank fully charged mini crit


It should work out to be lower burst damage than stock, but higher sustained damage and somewhat greater crowd control, creating a unique new playstyle that doesn't overshadow the stock rifle.

Sniper aficionados canon mechanic and stat lines:

Hipfiring will fire a vertical spread of pellets.
ADS firing will grant a heavy precision slug round that can headshot and deal full critical hits

Hipfiring increases fire rate by a base 10% with a 20% damage penalty, successively landed shots grants a tighter pellet spread and faster firing rate until it caps at 35% (a full 45% faster firing speed) until no targets are hit in a 4 second window.

ADS Decreases firing and reload by 20%. Grants a 15% damage boost, hold reload while scoped to have a 2x zoom, movement is lowered by 15% while double zoomed and when firing the scope will knock up aggressively.

ammo pool has been slashed from 25 to 15 rounds,

Reticle flinch has been increased by 10% base

(+)Shoots an accurate shotgun spray of bullets (accuracy depends on how charged the rifle is)
(+)Medium Knockback (at max charge, knockback depends on charge)
Cons:
(-)+15% Slower scoping time
(-)Has a clip of 3 shots
(-)Only 12 Ammo
(-)Weak self-knockback
(-)-10% Damage (Than stock shotgun)
(-) No headshots
(-)-20% Fire rate
(-)Louder than stock shotgun
Extra:
(=)Same damage and spread as stock shotgun when un-scoped

Level 1818 Franken-gun (The Bride of Scorch Shot if you will)

+ Hold down fire button to charge, release to fire.
+ Fully charged shots penetrate players and damage enemies behind them.
+ Does not automatically start charging when zoomed.
+ Fully charged shots deal +25% damage.
+ Fully charge shots destroys buildings even with Wrangler Shielding (if given a certain upgrade Deals Massive damage to Giants and Tanks and one shots Sentry busters)
- Quick scoping deals 75% less damage
- Shots leave a bright, easily traceable team-colored line behind them.

it looks like a Rail gun to me

Stats

Pros:
- Fires Slugs that deal 90 damage each
- Does not need to unscope between shots

Cons:
- Has a 6 shell clip that single loads (Requires unscope to reload)
- No head shots
- Cannot charge shots while scoped in
