Suggestions
If you have a suggestion for a new monument, either on a province that we haven't covered yet or a better suggestion for a province that we have, please tell us here.
Please bear in mind that we are adding no more than one monument per province.

My Luxembourgish Heart yearns for the Fortress of Luxembourg so the enemy may melt at my attrition and crumble against my defensiveness.

For some British Isles ones that aren't more castles, the Royal Navy Dockyards at Portsmouth, Trinity College Dublin or the Hill of Tara also in the Pale province wise, Derry's walls in Tir Eoghain, the Globe Theatre in London, Lincoln Cathedral (Tallest structure in the world in 1444 and would have remained that way throughout if they had rebuilt the spire after it collapsed, also held a copy of the Magna Carta), Blenheim Palace unfortunately also in Oxfordshire doubling with Oxford University, and the Royal Pavillion in Brighton which is in Sussex province wise.

Some good ideas! I'll add them whenever I get around to it.

Hi, I have a several suggestions for Poland and Hungary (and a bonus one for Greece/Ottomans).

Kraków (262):

Wawel Castle,
Wieliczka Salt Mine,
Jagiellonian University,
Clarus Mons/Jasna Góra Monastery,
Orle Gniazda (a series of castles, picture should include only one of them, e.g. Ogrodzieniec Castle)

Danzig (43) - Brama Żuraw (ger. Krantor), St. Mary's Church

Gniezno (4526) - Gniezno Cathedral

Glogów (2966) - Church of Peace

Legnica (4238):

Książ Castle (it's actually in another city, Wałbrzych, but the city has no
province of its own),
Church of Peace (yep, same as in Glogów; there were actually 3 of them, 2 in this province, 1 in Glogów)

Warsaw (257):

Wilanów Palace,
Saxon Palace,
Royal Baths,
Royal Castle of Warsaw (picture should include the famous Sigismund's Column)

Breslau (264) - Wrocław Cathedral/Breslauer Dom

Zhorelec (4778) - Muskau Park, Czocha Castle (the castle where EU4 Grandest LAN takes place!)

Opole (4723) - Opole Castle (doesn't exist today, no good picture may be available)

Stettin (1858) - Ducal Castle of Stettin

Kulm (1589) - Toruń City Hall

Chelm (4538) - City of Zamość (yep, an entire city, it was a pearl in the crown of Reneissance Poland; may only include the Grand Square of Zamość)

Przemysl (2424) - Przemysl Castle/Casimir Castle

Halicz (261) - Khotyn Fortress

Lwów (2961) - St. George's Cathedral

Königsberg (42) - Königsberg Castle (doesn't exist today)

Sandomierz (259) - Sandomierz Castle

As for Hungary:

Sopron (135) - Eszterháza, Castle of Sümeg

Fejer (4240) - Pannonhalma Archabbey

Samogy (1864) - Pécs Cathedral

Zemplen (162) - Castle of Diósgyőr

Szolnok (1425) - Eger Castle

Pest (153) - Esztergom Basilica, Visegrád Castle
Warol Kojtyla 25 Dec, 2023 @ 2:27am
Bonus for Greece/Ottomans:

Selanik (148) - Mt. Athos

And another suggestion:

Minsk (276) - Isn't the Victory Square a 20th century monument? It should propably be replaced with something closer to EU4's timeline or removed completely.

I have two rebalancing suggestions:
1. Every monument that is meant to represent a historical castle/fortification should in some way provide bonuses to local defence (be it defensiveness, fort maintenance, attrition, or local defender bonus). After all, that's literally what they're meant to represent right?
2. The Stockholm Palace providing local state maintenance is a bit funny considering it's meant to represent Sweden's capital. Capitals in EU4 already has basically no state maintenance, so ironically, Sweden is the only country that wouldn't benefit from the monument
