The spotlight has been hogged by Jacob long enough! Time to give the red hitbox some love!

Step 1: Begin run as Jacob and Esau.
On the first floor's sacrifice room, kill Esau on the spikes. After that happens, a short animation plays where Jacob runs away from the scene and Esau revives as the Revenant. You now play as Tainted Esau.
Step 2: Chase Jacob down.
As Tainted Esau, you inherit the ability of his to charge through enemies. This being your only way to deal damage means you are progressing significantly slower than your brother. Throughout each floor from now on, the path to the Boss Room will be "cleared" with red footprints leading through each room, indicating Jacob wuz here. If a Treasure Room was "on the way" to the Boss Room, the item from it will be missing. You have 10 minutes to reach Jacob.
Step 3: Esau vs Jacob.
When Esau reaches the room through which Jacob was currently running, all the doors closed, and Jacob looks around, panicked, realizing he has no way out. The battle begins, in which Jacob will be awarded one random treasure item for each Treasure Room he "encountered" as well as all the Boss Items. Epic fight ensues, after which Jacob's soul leaves his body. Esau proceeds to usurp control over his flesh, unlocking Tarnished Esau.

The idea is rough, and unfinished, but I have been thinking about how fun would it be to give Esau the role of the leading character in Tarnished form, since Jacob was the protagonist of the Tainted page. Feedback and discussioned is welcomed.
