When is the tarnished isaac buff?
Tarnished isaac needs a buff, because its main mechanic is to lose its strongest items, the quality of which is far from always preserved, in exchange it gets such weakenings as the inability to use other dice on items from the blighted dice, and also, as I described above, loses its strongest items. While the passive ability of tainted isaac and d6 help characters to depend less on randomness, actually expanding the choice of items, the blighted dice seems to do all the same, but the most important thing is that it itself is a source of randomness and the main support of the player, because it constantly loses its strongest items, and if the overcharged dice does not give the fourth quality from the third, this can mean the end of the run. Also blight itself is a nearly useless mechanic, designed to weaken a strong character by absorbing rot, the player is given a slot in the inventory and a charge of blighted dice, but if you lost the last item of the fourth quality, this does not mean that you will be able to get a new item of the fourth quality with the help of overcharge and random may simply give you nothing in return except an empty but ADDITIONAL slot in the inventory

Completely agreed. Probably one of the worst feeling characters to play as. You luck into brimstone from the devil room, well it's going to rot, and you're going to lose it. Nothing feels worse than being in a strong position and then losing it. Struggling with enemies on one floor where the previous floor you were stomping them.

For me, he feels nearly unplayable, I'll get a good item, it starts rotting, and there just seems to be nothing I can do. I've been able to fenangle my way into it not rotting, but the cost is so monumental that it's just not worth it.

I think a "lock in" mechanic where you can use an overcharged dice to prevent an item from rotting would solve his issues.

Isaac isn't a character who's core mechanic revolves around constantly adjusting your strategy, it's a "customize your build" character, but if that customization just disappears periodically, he's lost all identity and fun.

I found a way to pass it, but it was still not easy, I closed it in such a way that between the item of the 4th tier there must be items of the 3rd tier, to protect it from decay, when the cube is overcharged, you use its charge only on the item of the 4th quality so as not to lose its tier, but it still will not be easy, worse than it only tarnished Maggie
