their investment in both time and research makes them really underwhelming when facing early mass advanced fighters which can dispose of them quickly while still being relevant vs even frigates.

you cannot build as many as fighters and frigates either.
the more advanced corvettes also has too few models making them highty susceptible to die off early with focused strikes.

thus making hiigaran corvette very underwhelming.
