Will there be a Garry's Mod/Team Fortress 2 version?

Possibly. When the map is in a "final" state and I don't have to keep fixing and changing things, I'll consider attempting to recompile it within the Orange Box SDK. I'm not promising anything though.

Will there be a night time/dusk/insert-time-of-day version?

Yes. Certain variations (like a night version) will be made when the main map is done. If I compile a night version now and then find out I have things to fix, I will have to edit and recompile multiple maps to push that fix out. If however I wait till the main map is done, I can just recompile some quick variations.

Why are the houses not solid?

This is unfortunately necessary. Originally, the center row of houses (when that's all there was) was made of brush work (the stuff map's walls are made of), but due to the complexity of the houses, the amount of them, and the size of the map, they had to be converted to models to avoid exceeding Source engine limitations.

Another issue with this is converting brush work to models does not give the houses any collisions. I may rectify this by adding some basic player clips for the floors and stairwells, but it's not necessary to animate a character interacting with the house itself.

I can't get the current map without Source Filmmaker crashing?

I think this has something to do with the size of the current map download, as many people have no issues, with a minority coming to complain about crashes in the comments.

I would suggest either unsubscribing, deleting all the content, then resubscribing, or downloading the maps manually by getting B6 from GameBanana.

Why are there random sticks in the front lawn?

Those are mailboxes. Right click your project preview window and make sure you're having other entities displayed, and they'll show up correctly.

Where can I find doors to fit the empty frames?
There are a couple of door models in TF2 that should fit, but if you want some nice generic-looking TF2 themed doors, you can grab an awesome set from The Kins' SFM door set:

A little typo you made. On the last question, you typed "Where". Just pointing that out. :3

Not sure if you'll see this or not, but do you think you could make a winter version of this map? TF2 does have some snow-related assets and it is getting close to the holidays after all, something to try, hopefully!
