Nearby gene banks

I really like your mod, makes transhumanist runs so much less annoying. Extractors prefer genes that are not in a nearby gene bank. What exactly does "nearby" mean in this case? In the same room? A specific amount of tiles around it? Sorry if I overlooked something in the description.
