The weapons are one use only

after you've killed a vampire with a certain weapon, that specific weapon doesnt drain energy from vampires anymore and you have to spawn another

I noticed this as well. and considering this discussion is from a year ago i can see they haven't patched it. i hope they do patch it sometime.
