v41.78.16 - Dark Background/FloorLevel is not working.
I thought that any kind of mod would interfere with this mod here, but it doesn't seem to work entirely.
I tried your Sandbox options, to make the environment darker. No success.
I even downloaded and installed Darker Map (modload order before and once again after your mod), no success.
Running your mod single, and on another instance with Darker Map, the only effects I see changing are the colors and contrasts of buildings and forests.

Used settings on both mod configurations:

Getting this result only...

I am not running it on a server. It is a full solo/singleplayer instance.
No other mod is running in the background nor the vanilla files have been modified in any way.



Could you please elaborate how to achieve the darker textures on the ground level?

test in admin mode in coop, direct test ingame, with admin panel, and export the sandbox var to your sandbox sp

It really worth mentioning that result you are looking for needs "Darker Map" mod as well

I actually tried everything, as I also already said, starting a new game save with only this and the darker map mod enabled, nothing has changed the overall background color of the map.
Using debugging and such has not and will never result into a different experience, as the debugger does not alter the modloading process nor the caching of mods / game files.
