Hints and Spoilers
Upgrade Temptation: Riches
Hint: What aspects does the necklace have?

Solution: You need to explore with the necklace and your temptation to upgrade them.

The Two Riddles/Creating the Tools
Hint: Use the rite of the crow's quenching with The Eye that Covets and The Hand that Snatches with the right ingredients and influence. The necessary ingredients are available fairly early from vaults.

Solution: First tool: Rite + Hand Lore + Xanthotic Essence (found at Gladwyn Lake) + Grail influence to the 6th magnitude or higher. Second Tool: Rite + Eye Lore + Sthenic Venom (found at Key-Hunter's Garret) + Moth influence to the 10th magnitude or higher.

Upgrade Dedication: Riches
Hint: Once you have both tools forged, you should be ready to delve deeper.

Solution: Now is time to explore the Tunnels Behind the Hall with your dedication and both Tools of the Trade.

Treasures for the Vault
Hint: Reread the tenets. They contain nudges in the right direction.

Solution: You will need to complete the Ornate Pendant for the Beachcomber, raise the Vault's Treasure to 50 or more, and provide each of the other Avian Hours with a fabulous treasure.

Avian Hours
Hint: The other Avian hours each need to be given a fabulous treasure to win their favour. They are the Sister-and-Witch, the Witch-and-Sister, the Elegiast (Ivory Dove), and the Vagabond (Laughingthrush).

Solution: You need to provide a tier 3 (12 aspect) ingredient or tool of the appropriate aspect for each. Heart, Grail, Moth, and Winter.

Completing the Ornate Pendant
Hint: You should receive a hint for the locations of each necessary gem after you heal an Affliction with the Vault dug.

Solution: The gems will be found at The Eye of Ikirmawi, Messana, and Raven Isle. Repair the necklace in the Work verb.

excuse me, i'm having trouble finding the eye that covets and the hand that snatches. Could someone give me a hint please?
The verses that serve as hints for the tools are extremely inconsistent and misleading:

The Eye lore says:

"A needle, the poison, a yearning of yore,
to shatter the windows and open the door".

The Hand lore says:

"Gold quicksilver, bind Moon and Sun
Crimson sky, shroud the light for all but one."

(I'm writing these from memory, but I shouldn't be missing important words)

Now the problem is, most people would assume that the first line refers to one component and the second like refers to the second component.

According to the this logic, "A needle, the poison, a yearning of yore" is the ingredient. Now "needle" would mean the Skaptodon Fang, "poison" can refer to any poison ingredient, while "yearning of yore" would mean any Moth ingredient. Obviously, only one of these can be true.

And "shatter the windows and open the door" would refer to a Knock influence. Now imagine my surprise when I find out that the first line refers to both components (the poison + a yearning of yore), while the "needle" and "shatter the windows and open the door" are both red herrings. Not cool.

In the second verse, I took "gold quicksilver" as referring to a Lantern ingredient, and I probably wasn't the only one. "Crimson sky" too, would look like an obvious reference to a Heart influence, since it's red, and Heart influences have the word "Airs" in them. Air = sky.

People will think of these wrong solutions because contrary to your hints, the real components are NOT found at Gladwyn Lake and Key-Hunter's Garret. They are only available from repeat locations, and most people will never explore those, because there are usually a lot of leftover unique locations with less obstacles and better rewards. So most people will not even encounter the real required components in the game, and will associate onto the next best (incorrect) thing.

I'd advise everyone to check the spoiler and start farming the required repeat locations for the components. I love the mod so far, but this is a badly designed part with "hints" that actively sabotage the player.
Where do I find more feathers?
