Tutorial to add characters?

Would it be possible to get an tutorial on how to create an similar mod? or maybe modify the existing mod code to put in own character models. Because there only exist tutorials to do this for specific maps and also zombies only. But having one for multiplayer would be really nice

There is no written guide however the mod itself is open-sourced. Have fun digging through the source code to repurpose it.
