So this is not a typical discussion related to the add-on at all, I just want to warn people about fake thumbnail and previews on some add-ons.

If you are not a modder, you might not realize that some add-ons don't work according to the previews or description. Some of these add-ons are either false advertising trying to make minched meat out of people's mind and getting points or just trolling.

I can give one example, which is this add-on.

Basically, he/she took Red Schism's Cinematic Lighting Effect and reupload it. And after some updates, they did make changes to the file, so what did they change? In short, the add-on does absolutely nothing now, and they just got profit out of that.

The workshop is supposed to be a place for people to get additional or replacement content to enjoy, regardless of whether you like it or not. Be it a small or big add-on, it doesn't matter.

If you see there isn't anything changed or added with the add-on you are using or suspecting a same change from a familiar add-on, just ignore it completely, don't spread hate comments on them, and simply spread awareness to other people.

To you modders, if you do change someone's add-on and reupload it, consider putting credits in the description if you have too.
