Features
Each feature listed here can be manually turned on/off by editing the file "z_defines.txt" in:
"Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\859580\XXX\common\script_values"
where "XXX" depends on the version you're using:
· Vanilla: 3020427093
· Invictus: 3020434697

The Limes
  • The AI creates Marches along the borders of its historical/natural Expansion Zone (EZ)
  • AI Rome has its own special EZ that unlocks gradually, following the historical timeline
  • The AI merges Marches in the same regions over time
  • The AI can diplo-annex its Marches for free as its EZ grows
  • The AI releases Marches if they don't have a common border, unless they are coastal
  • In some cases, when applicable, Marche names are based on area, region or main culture
  • The player releases Marches instead of Tributaries after researching the "Tributary Concessions" invention

Historical tweaks
  • Buff AI Rome, helping the historical outcome (but there's a small chance it gets nerfed instead!)
  • Buff AI Parthia when fighting AI Seleucid, helping their historical victory
  • Nerf AI Seleucid when fighting AI Parthia, helping their historical defeat
  • Nerf AI Egypt and Seleucid when not ruled by Ptolemy I or Seleukos I or one of their children, helping the historical decline of their dynasties
  • Nerf AI Successor empires when ruled by a weak character, helping their historical decline
  • Non-European AI countries of Macedonian culture aren't allowed to integrate other cultures until ~100 years into the game
  • AI Rome can be prompted to attack AI-controlled targets to achieve a more historical outcome
  • AI Parthia can be prompted to attack AI-controlled targets to achieve a more historical outcome
  • AI Rome won't annex AI Carthage (the city) if it still has a strong presence in Africa and Numidia (default off)
  • Rename AI Carthage as "Punic League" if the capital is lost, until it is recovered
  • Recolor AI Seleucids when they aren't ruled by a Hellenic dynasty as a result of losing a civil war: 1 = green, 2 = indigo, 3 = sand, 0 = disabled

Anti-bordegore tweaks
  • When some regions like the Nile Delta are shared between two large AI empires, and one side owns more than 70% of it, it wins it all
  • Large AI empires can spawn new countries when they are split into very distant parts (not super effective but it adds up to the rest)
  • Increase CW threshold for AIs (Normal difficulty only), reducing the number of civil wars potentially ruining the map
  • Wrap up AI civil wars when one side owns most of the territory, reducing the risk of civil wars ruining the map
  • City-based countries restore their historical capital if they lose it and then recover it
  • The AI can vassalize small enclaved, non-coastal AIs for free
