Due to the type of things that exist i'd say the timeline is around the year 3500, what i think is that humans created superhuman robots and then tried to implant that into humans but something went wrong and now a rebellion started some robots fight against the humans while others side with them, that's the reason why humans have implants in this i think, also for the snail robot it might be a superweapon that the robots are trying to take from the humans.

ALSO the humans or possibly robots created items that acted like some superpowers the robots had like the projector fist item or the radioactive boombox lookin thing

Red- Destruction. Blue- Stealth. Green- Endurance. Yellow - Speed. Purple - Unknown, maybe eldrich power? For the energy core i think it harnesses the power of all the vortexs to create some god-like android or human like demi-god

and if you are worthy you can wield it for a short amount of time

but if you are worthy worthy or evil in someway you can use the energy core and create some power armor or something and use all of the vortexs to become a demi-god or a full on god, strong enough to take over the world and the snail is like something that can allow you to use the power armor or something!

As seen for the giga former, it gives you the power to enlarge yourself and become pure energy and have increased strength but when you untransform you are more durable and you become stronger

in the cttc lab we see a robot laying on a table next to a frozen human that is still alive, most likely the founder of cttc but the robot on the table looks like the scrap ♥♥♥ kinda, maybe a older model or newer

also in the lab we see a testing chamber, most likely to test new robots and if they fail the laser destroys them?
