Why do they still die even after I replace the brain?

The health bars continue to go down even after the transplant is done, I've tried everything from giving blood to the rag doll to using the staples, but nothing works. Any tips would be appreciated.

the heart dies when you take out the brain use a defibulater to fix it or you can take out the heart and put in a new one
