Tips, Tricks, and Setups
I'll start this discussion by offering some tips regarding upgrades and game settings.

These are based on my experience so far.

1) in the Gameplay settings, use "Realistic Automatic" and set keys to shift up and down to select drive, neutral, and reverse. "Simple Automatic" has been to jumpy in my experience making it hard to backup properly. As for sequential or any other shifting option, see no point since technically electrics don't have gears to change.

2) Do not change the transmission! The default EV Single is the only one that works properly. With any other transmission you will encounter shifting glitches, limited speed, and it acting like it's in neutral when it shows you're in drive. The EV Single tends to seem sluggish then suddenly jumping into action with the throttle when used with the "Simple Automatic" setting. Other transmissions combined with "Simple Automatic" are similar to the EV Single for response with the added bonus of shifting glitches and suddenly at a stop deciding to go in reverse despite you using the control you have set for forward.

the starting cat C9 engine with the EV gearbox is the only way to run it.
the other engines might have higher horsepower BUT the C9 has MASSIVE torque to make it work.

Yeah, I never tried different engines, just the transmissions.

I have found Realistic Automatic or Sequential work well. Sequential is nice because Realistic Automatic sometimes holds second gear too long.

Yes, it has a 2 speed transmission due to some limitations in ATS.

The cat9 charges the battery the truck is electric.

We know its that ATS Does not support ev as a engine type so they have to use the cat 9 as the engine but put the ev sound that it has.
