- Remington R25 in .243 Winchester
- Anderson AR in .458 SOCOM
- BCA AR in .22 WMR (especially common in the UK where you can only own semi-auto .22 rimfire rifles)
- S&W M&P-15-22 in .22LR
- A pistol-caliber CMMG AR (in 9mm, .40, .45, or 10mm, etc.)
There are already 2 AR style pistol-caliber carbines in this mod (RD-9,RD-45), plus the RD-300 in .300 Blackout. The CMMG AR might look too similar to the other PCCs, though it would probably make more sense realistically since it's much more well known than the RD-series. In fact writing this paragraph is enough to convince me to add it, considering barely anyone has ever even heard of the TacEdge RD-9.
And I gotta say that was the coolest looking airsoft gun I had way back when.
So that is my "suggestion/ask"
Also, gonna add I read the PAQ, I'm not on discord at this moment, that's why I'm saying this here. Just wanted to float the idea of a "Tactical AK47 DMR" due to it not being a flat in two pieces soviet item on a desk.
If you're looking to flesh out the calibers specifically, CMMG does make their Banshee pistol carbine in FN 5.7x28mm. Might be worth implementing it in that caliber, as you already have the 5-7 pistol but no carbines/SMGs yet.
There's also the Armi Jager AP74, an Italian clone of the M16A1 - most were made in .22 LR, but some were made in .32 ACP oddly enough. They were a pretty common sight in 80s/90s movies as a stand-in for M16s, and there's a fair few of them on the civilian market. You already have the Kel-Tec and FN M1910 but it's generally quite hard to find full size guns in that .32 caliber.
I'm thinking ShAK-12, Rsh-12, AA-12 (I like 12s)
AA-12, like I said is cool but has since somehow become even rarer than the XM8. If I include it, it would probably have to fall near the "one-of-a-kind" level of rarity or it would be a modernized replica with rails and stuff. Or both, I keep forgetting I could just add both.
Also on the topic of power weapons, I'm currently brainstorming ideas for a lore-friendly, semi-automatic, magazine-fed, 2-bore rifle. It's over the top as hell, but there's only a few 2-bore weapons that have ever been made so I figured I'd improvise my own.
I certainly don't mind a modernized version of the auto-shotty. If you do end up with some sort of "power pack" the Shak, and Rsh 12 would be a cool battle rifle, handgun combo. For more power weapons, I remember seeing a fallout mod that was an anti-materiel rifle but with a revolver chamber and I thought it was the coolest thing ever, albeit impractical. Perhaps it could have some sort of electrically charged ammo that needs to be kept in the revolver cylinder till fired.
Also, MCX VIRTUS or any of its variants?
Any kind of SIG MCX is eventually planned for the mod, but drawing modern super tacticool rifles like that is stressful since there are so many little details to consider. Just know it's expected to come.
- Bushmaster M4A3 (Blue stock and vertical grip)
- Bushmaster M4 Patrolman's MOE (Pale green furniture with red-dot sight)
- Ruger-556 (White furniture with rear rail sights)
Compact pistols like the Glock 43 and SIG P365 were planned for release, I just haven't made them yet since the mod already has so many pistols. I'll add them once there's enough long-guns to justify adding even more hand-guns.
Well technically the PTR91's military variant is the G3, but that gun is from the cold war. While still using the same platform, the AK4 is the same gun with modern furniture "D" being the designated marksman variant.
(pedantic I know but it's my fav battle rifle) Glad to know someone shares my taste though. :)
