As a Sonic (Bar Kun) user, here are some tips for you when you play as Sonic in your upcoming battles

When you win your battle as Sonic, you would get a rank depending on the conditions

A RANK - Defeated your opponent without deaths and survived below 100% damage
B RANK - Defeated your opponent without deaths, but your damage is 100% and UP
C RANK - Defeated your opponent with one death taken but you did not take 100% damage on your second life
D RANK - Defeated your opponent with one death and have 100% damage on your second life
E RANK - Defeated your opponent with two deaths and so on

If you wanna get an A rank on your battles when playing as him, the following tips will cover you on those.

Don't just spam the strong attacks, try to utilize more of his moves!
This Sonic encourages players to make their own stylish combos and to catch enemies as fast as they can.

My recommendation is to start with a forward aerial and then once you land, quickly use the down tilt and you can either

1. Quickly move and do quick short hops with a neutral air attack and quickly descent and rinse and repeat
2. Use the up tilt to do some jumpin' air combos!

This will help you fill the boost meter quickly. I suggest you use the training mode to create your own combo!

By using the trick ring, you can gain height. You can also gain much more height if you use the down special on the ring and if you taunt at the right moment when you're about to fall.

If you combine the best of both worlds, your recovery will become your greatest life saver ever!

Not much to say here but, once you enter boost mode, you are much faster and you can chase enemies when their flying.

However, it comes with a cost depending on how well you play as Sonic. Sometimes, when you're too fast, your moves like the forward air attack can miss if not handled properly.
Or if you are going to descend someone to the blast zone with his bound attack, be careful not to miss (The same can happen without boost mode!)
