Weak enemies like spiders and flies will only shoot out a few small ghost effects, only stronger enemies will have ghost entities

Hi! There seems to be some noticeable jank related to ice tears like from Uranus. When a soul is ejected but the body is frozen, the soul returns to the body as if it were alive, and the body will still deal contact damage. The room typically treats it as a properly killed enemy for clearing purposes. Normally the frozen bodies would be safe to touch, and you would want to walk into them to launch for more damage - but in the fray sometimes you don't notice which are 'revived' or not, and so touching any statues feels risky. This one I'm able to replicate very consistently (any combination of a live soul returning to a frozen body, either killed+frozen and ejected in the same hit, or ejected and frozen before return)

Ejected souls you kill freeze properly though, so if you catch them before they return you can get a 2 for 1 on ice statues which is nice. However, if you eject a soul normally (body remains alive+unfrozen) and then freeze it, the body will remain counted as 'alive' for room clearing purposes - you'll have to find and shatter the frozen soul, or kill the hollow body of the affected enemy. This one is also replicated very consistently.

I've also noticed a few other oddities, my first run was the forgotten which has made the above more noticeable as the club one shots fairly reliably. I'm not sure if ejecting ghosts should count as a finished room normally, I had a few cases where ejecting the soul on an enemy counts the room as cleared even though they are alive and well and will still revive properly if the soul is left alive. This one I wasn't able to replicate quickly on purpose, but may be directly related to the main bug or a fluke caused by something else. I don't exactly remember the few cases I got during the real run, but managed to get it to happen once on a group of Buttlickers in testing, so it may be related to chained enemies? I had a case where I believe a gurgling soul without a body wouldn't decay, the room was counted as cleared, but the body-less soul continued pursuit until I left. These last few aren't really a big deal, but I figured I would toss them in while I was mentioning the other stuff anyways.
If waling into the fire after killing the mirror boss kills you than disregard this, if not then...
as tainted forgotten, throwing the forgotten pile into the flame will kill you and say that you died to a willow (Edit: it is hitting the fire at all)

this is so concise, thank you! i'll see what i can do about these, i can think of some simple fixes to most of them

woah you're right, that's super weird, i'll check on that
edit: haha i found the issue, i had it kill the source of the damage to make tears pop on contact but with the forgotten the source is himself, this is fixed now
though the forgotten doesn't really work properly with the item yet

both forgotten and azezel has the bug mentioned in the known issues list: the fire kills you
other times that ive tested it shows that having brimstone also kills you
(t. azezel should also have the same problem)
also for some reason when i play other random characters the same bug happens??? dont know why.

Hello, dunno if anyone reported it already, but there seem to be some compatibility issues with Fiend Folio's Magnifier enemies. Instead of replacing enemies with magnified versions, the Magnifier will rip out the soul of the targeted enemy like ghost pepper 2 tears do.

This happened with Pale Gapers and Pale Horfs. This didn't happen with Pale Clotties however, which are magnified into MAG Clotties as expected.

That sounds bizarre, I can't find this issue myself, you mean the magnifier itself is shooting out their ghosts?

the fire its not working (just appears as the normal eternal fire) and if i give a ghost pepper myself it appears as the normal ghost pepper
