Suggested by @YepThatsMyName :
- Ruling 101 (A book written by a quick/intelligent/genius character. Grants +3 to all attributes if the wearer has a negative intelligence trait or is dull)
- The Many Crown (Literally just several crowns stacked on top of eachother. Requires the wearer to hold at least 10 kingdom titles to be worn)
- The Helmet, Spear and Armor of Leonidas (Prowess, prestige and combat bonuses probably)
- Complaint tablet to Ea-Nasir (Character has to have high enough learning to understand what it means, but grants increased stewardship, intrigue and tax)
- Codex Gigas (Largest preserved medieval manuscript, called The Devil's Bible due to the full page devil illustration)
- Bible II (A lunatic characters attempt to make a bible sequel)
- "Monster Bones" (Aka dinosaur bones found by someone who doesn't know what a dinosaur is)
- Zweihander or just a really big sword (Prestige bonus for everyone, Prowess bonus only for giant/herculean/strong characters)
- Excalibur...? (A sword stuck in stone. Rather than trying to take it out, it was just picked up together with the stone and it's now used like a hammer/club)

Hello my good sire! I may have a suggestion for you, inspired after seeing someone suggest the inclusion of the sword In the stone.
Unleashed Excalibur: can be obtained through a decision if you have the sword in stone in your court and have the following:
At least two virtue traits,
No sinful traits,
Gallant,
Augustus,
Exalted among men,
Dutiful servant,
Excalibur serves as a weapon, adds an staggering +50 to martial (it's the sword of promised Victory after all), monthly prestige, fellow vassal opinion and vassal opinion +20, knight effectiveness +30.
If not holds Britannia, event grants claim of all of the British isles.
If you decided to do my suggestion, you can adjust it as how you feel it's better, I just think that Excalibur should be hard to get and have equally grand rewards.
Without further to add, I thank you for your time and I wish you a magnificent day!

The Holy Roman Emperor Frederick II owned a sulphur crested cockatoo, which would have had to come from Australia or New Guinea. You could make a stuffed cockatoo (by whatever name seems most appropriate, since I doubt cockatoo would be a word anyone in medieval western Eurasia would know) available as a pedestal or small wall artefact.

Wassup, I got some more suggestions
- Fire Lance (Ancestor of the modern firearms. While it came to Europe in the 14th century, it's first appearance was in the 10th century)
- Inferno, Purgatorio and Paradiso (The 3 parts of the epic poem Divine Comedy)
- Sword of Arslantepe (Earliest swords so far known. Probably not good as a weapon but it's a conversation starter)
- Sunspear, Zun's Decree and the Golden Shield (Artifacts for the zunist faith. Unless you're zunist, they're still pretty cool looking in a throne room
- Something from Vinland? (Vikings arrived in Vinland at around year 1000, so maybe they could have brought something relic-ish from there?)
Gilgamesh 22 Nov, 2023 @ 1:39pm
Mask of Aurelian?

What would really be nice and highly appreciated by the Romanian players would be if you added the Dacian Draco and the Dacian sword as artifacts specific for the Vlach culture. If it's too hard to make, you don't have to

Hi, first off, awesome output and quality regarding your overall content, so thank you for that!

Battle-Boar (helmet)
Finn's Heritage (mailcoat): "Finn, son of Folcwald, was a legendary Frisian king. He is mentioned in Widsith, in Beowulf, and in the Finnesburg Fragment. He is named in the Historia Brittonum,..."

Background: Eadgils was a semi-legendary king of Sweden during the 6th century, as well as the first historically verifiable ruler of the Frisians. When he found himself in war with his uncle Onela, he asked the son of his wife, the legendary Danish King Hrólfr Kraki, for help with a promise of three valuable gifts in recompense. Hrólfr was personally involved in a war with the Saxons, but he chose to send twelve of his berserkers (including Böðvarr Bjarki).
Áli (Onela) died in the war, and Aðils (Eadgils) took Áli's helmet Battle-boar and his horse Raven. The berserkers demanded three pounds of gold each in pay, and they demanded to choose the gifts that Aðils had promised Hrólfr, that is the two pieces of armour that nothing could pierce: the helmet battle-boar and the mailcoat Finn's heritage. They also wanted the famous ring Svíagris. Aðils considered the pay outrageous and refused.

In the saga tradition, the Swedish king Eadgils (Aðils) had three main treasures: Hildisvíni ("battle swine"), Svíagríss ("boar of the Swedes") and Finnzleif ("Finn's inheritance").[24] It had first belonged to the Swedish king Onela (Áli), but it was later owned by Eadgils, his nephew and opponent in the dynastic struggle.[22] Bjarkarímur tells that Bjarki (Beowulf's cognate) took the helmet from Onela, as spoil of war, at the Battle on the Ice (mentioned in Beowulf, lines 2391–96). However, Aðals (Eadgils) declared that the king chooses first and took the helmet, which offended Bjarki who had to accept the king's decision
The name of the helmet Hildisvíni means "battle-swine",[22] and Hildigǫlt means "battle boar".[11] The Swedes wore helmets decorated with boars. Moreover, the Swedish Yngling dynasty were called descendants of the god Freyr whose animal was the boar. The boar was likely their regal insignia.[23]

Aquila: The legendary Eagles of the Roman legions.

Each legion carried one eagle.

The eagle had quasi-religious importance to the Roman soldier, far beyond being merely a symbol of his legion. To lose a standard was seen as extremely grave, shameful and dishonorable, and the Roman military went to great lengths both to protect a standard and to recover one had it been lost; after the annihilation of three legions in the Teutoburg Forest, the Romans spent decades retaliating for the defeat while also attempting to recover the three lost eagles.

No legionary eagle standards are known to have survived.

It is quite possible that less than 100 eagles have ever been made in the history of Rome. You could just pick a very small number. For example the Aquilo of Caesar's famous "Legio X Equestris" (most loyal and probably his favorite one, mounted infantry) could give some Prestige and add a small bonus to your armies marching speed, maybe 1% knight effectiveness.

"Legio X Fritensis" is well known today for a variety of reasons. For one, it has a strong Biblical connection, having been stationed through much of the First Century AD in Judea during the time of Christ. It was heavily involved in the suppression of revolts and captured Gamla, Herodium, Masada, took part in the siege of Jerusalem, and numerous other actions. It was recognized as being particularly adept at siege warfare, and played a major role in the defeats of Anthony and Cleopatra by forces under Octavius. Three of its commanders, Vespasian, Titus and Trajan became emperors adding greatly to its prestige.

"Legio V Macedonica" was the longest serving legion formed in 43 BCE and disbanded in either 550 or 635/637 and the only unit in the entire army to get the VII Pia VII Fidelis honorific (seven times faithful, seven times loyal).

I think for a good idea the sword of Charlemagne Joyuse there was a mod in CK2 if you own the sword, you can basically rage Duchy wars to reclaim the Carolgian Empire

i think maybe the epic of Gilgamesh or code of Hammurabi would be a good addition
I think adding the Holy Grail/Holy Chalice would be very cool. It's the only Christian artefact that I feel is missing from the game. And the Excalibur would be a perfect inventory artefact, but I like your suggestion about the sword in the stone. I think that could be a cool court chest slot artefact
