About the Predator AI - How it works
The predator spawns in for the first time on round 7, this might seem like you have plenty of time to get prepared but don't be fooled as those first 7 rounds go by quick.

The predator will spawn in from its closest 'pop out' spot inside the zone you are in and will appear with its cloaked ability active and commence hunting down the player. A looping suspense track will play on the Predator which will allow the player to determine if one is nearby.

It has a few attack styles up its sleeve. Initially equipped with a variety of slashes and stabs with its wrist blade, the Predator will use its agility to maintain a daunting pace keeping up with the player most of the time. Whilst it may take a few hits from the Predators blades to hurt the player severely, the biggest risk is getting backed into a corner by it. Only the most well equipped players will be able to escape its wrath at this point.

Should you be able to outrun the predator for a period of time, the Predator will switch to a slow paced walk where it will activate its shoulder cannon to shoot a barrage of plasma/electricity at the player. It's best to keep on the move and get behind cover to avoid this maneuver.

You will need to use all weapons at your disposal to damage the Predator and after a considerable amount of damage has been dealt the Predators cloak will disable making it an easier target to both attack and defend yourself from.

Continuing to damage the Predator will ultimately result in it re-enabling is cloak ability and retreat to its closest 'pop in' spot where it will go into hiding to heal.

Should the Predator successfully escape you will only have a short period of time before it pops back out at its nearest 'pop out' spot and the process restarts.

Should you manage to kill the Predator, the Predator will use a last hail mary attempt to attack the player with it's self destruct ability. If the player is within the blast radius they will absorb a shock blast and EMP effect that will disorient and visually impair the player for a short period.

With the predator dead, the player is free to play on as normal for 4-5 rounds before a new Predator arrives.
