Figured Blackbeard would be focused on getting gold on killed units and converting enemy ships to your side. not too certain on Odysseus, but im sure they could have a dun feature.
I have another one that could possibly fit alongside John Henry: John Chapman aka Johnny Appleseed
Could work in a similar manner to Maui, however their charges only add a new unique Apple resource, Probably just a modified Citrus plant with a unique icon. Maybe in later eras, he can unlock a second ability which allows him to create an "Apple Cider" Luxury resource in a city that has an apple resource in its borders. Not sure if he would be a strong hero, but would be a hero that would be helpful in resource dry areas...
Could chop down forest or jungles and give cities much more production than they would if a regular builder chopped them down. Maybe take the Oxen model used for settlers in Civ V and pair it with Paul to represent Babe the Blue Ox?
I would love to see St. Patrick. Perhaps a reduced Magnus effect, for clearing resources. And maybe +5 strength within domestic city borders at a higher level?
Others I think would be great include:
- Dante's Virgil
- Baba Yaga
- Quetzalcoatl
- Coyote
- Shiva
- Izanagi and Izanami
- Satoshi Nakamoto
- Curupira
- Olorun Olodumare
- Amina of Zaria
- Makeda, Queen of Sheba
