FATAL ERROR
I see you fixed the fatal error thing before, wondering if you can do it again.

Getting:

" FATAL ERROR: attempting to render with error material for 'materials/error.vmat' "

I'm forced to validate CS2 every time it happens, but it doesn't happen every time. It's like a coinflip.

I usually do aim_botz then fast aim/reflex training. I don't know if it could be these 2 maps messing with each other.

That looks like it did the trick, game no longer crashes after going from aim_botz to your map. Thanks for the quick fix :happy_cats:

Hmm got the error again today after going from aim_botz to fast aim/reflex training :steamsad:

Its strange, it works fine for many and many other people. Can you try to redownload the map? Just unsubscribe and then subscribe again after a short moment. Maybe there is some old data left in the installation that is messing up cs2.

Booted up CS just now and had to go aim_botz -> reflex -> aim_botz -> reflex and then it crashed with the fatal error.

I then unsubscribed, deleted the maps from the workshop folder and resubscribed. This time it took 4 tries of going aim_botz -> reflex. It's so weird that it's so inconsistent. I don't know if it could be my PC or settings or something.

Doesn't seem like it's on you though, if I'm the only person complaining. Still very weird bug though.

Hmm thats really strange. You are not the only one, but there are only very few people with this issue. Will take another look into it

Created a new map file and recompiled it again. Hopefully this fixes the issue for those of you that experience crashes. The map is now called: aim_fastreflex06
