General Bug Report/Help Me/Discuss
I decided this would be a useful thread besides the one I'm currently on. For all, not just me.
If this could be pinned, that would be great!

Just don't clutter the comments anymore, lol.

to sum up my current set of issues:

Gravity is set to 0.9 in the code when the player enters - and it doesn't appear to be working.

Can I actually get the oracle to exit work mode?

I get it's kind of new, but more documentation on events would be nice. It works as is, I was just kinda misinterpreting.

"random": true is, infact, not random.

Yeah, I can confirm that in some cases, as well as several other things to address.

* You seem to be fed 10 food pips when being marked by custom iterators. (Might be a Rotund World interaction)

* The iterator doesn't seem to be able to respond to giving items or pearls to them. I managed to coax mine into reading a single white pearl once by tossing it some time before they stopped speaking. (It might have been mid-mark)

* Speaking of opening dialogue, I didn't see a way to track visits past the first, to allow for a different set of dialogue on returning. There's the mark of course, but that strategy doesn't work if you get the mark from elsewhere, or as slugcats who already have the mark.

* Using a newline operator, \n, does move the rest of the text to a new line as expected, but it doesn't expand the text box to compensate.

Update on that, <LINE> works perfectly for a new line. The docs should mention this, so confusion doesn't occur.

"playerConversation" automatically blanks anything talking to the player before it.

"playerAttack" has some really wacky ♥♥♥♥ going on, only excecuting when it wants to

this was actually quite common knowledge amongst dialogue modding

Hey, there is one bug that makes my entire game crash when im trying to leave the chamber. I Hope it will be fixed soon :slugcatsleep:
Kalinite 17 Nov, 2023 @ 8:08am
thats not a bug

well, it is, but
it more likely is your code, because i got this issue once after i tried to leave SU_test after leaving the chamber
but i guess leaving the chamber for you is where it crashed

interesting, then we'll wait and see
iteratorkit is in its infancy

it could technically be rainworld, because iteratorkit focuses on adding the puppet because its hard to add normally

My friend, Bray-G had the same issue. And yes, that is in fact, a iterator kit issue
Bray-G 17 Nov, 2023 @ 9:27am
The developer confirmed it was a lack of error handling due to mods setting certain values to NULL when they probably shouldn't be. Iterator Kit currently doesn't account for it, and thus crashes.

Pearlcat is one example of a mod that causes the issue, but it'll get fixed by Iterator Kit down the line.

Nice, that is good
