Install and uninstall Instructions
BEWARE: This is outside the scope of what a mod normally do, make file changes at your own risk. Amplitude is not responsible for any misstep, nor do I.

The mod itself is a modified version of the current 1.5.60 version AI DLL.

Install:

1. Suscribe to the mod. Restart steam if the mod files were not downloaded.

2. Locate the mod files within your computer. (Usually under [STEAM]\workshop\content\392110\3075478766)

3. Copy the Public folder and paste it inside game's folder. (Usually under [STEAM]\common\Endless Space 2)
Only one file will be replaced (Public/AI/Release/Amplitude.AI.Core.dll). If you are not using steam and got this mod, manually backup your "Public/AI/Release" folder first.

You can locate your steam installation from Steam Client in Settings > Storage > ... (three dots button) then on browse folder.

Uninstall:

To uninstall the mod: just go to steam library, right-click on Endless Space 2 > Properties > Installed files > Verify integrity of game files.

Does this mod work for the MacOS version? how does one install it?

I have no idea on how the MacOS version works, IIRC from other games they convert the DLL files into another object? if the DLL files are somehow there, is just a replace, if they are converted though... cannot help :(

You right click on the Endless Space executable, and click show package contents, then you go into the folders mentioned above.

OK I have plugged in the new Enfer and Playing as the Sophons, Ill let you know if everything works good as I develop AI for other games as well.

It does not work on Mac OS, unfortunately, guys, I've done everything, but no success. The game launches, but the loading is stuck after some time. Pity!

So we do have to subscribe it after all, eventhough the actual mod is a DLL replacement, right?
I am asking because of load order. Does it then matter where in the load order of mods it is?

you just have to subscribe, so you can download the DLL itself. As is a replacement, you don't need to load it as a mod ingame, is always active as long as you have replaced the DLL file.

Is there any dropbox or direct download location I can get the DLL?
I'm really struggling to install the mod, the file location isn't showing up despite being sure that it has updated and downloaded on steam multiple times over. Its not showing up in my workshop folder despite saying its downloaded and resetting steam.

Hey, went to the google drive and dl'ed the file, then went to the Public/AI/Release/ and pasted the file over the existing Amplitude.AI.Core.dll. Should that work?

Yes, if you replaced the DLL file, it's done.
