This is for any content/unit suggestions you may have. All I ask is that you focus on these specific aspects; What is the Unit's role? What faction? Tradeoffs (Can't be this unit but better)? And of course what's the lore behind this unit?

heres my idea for why the Vengeance Frigates and Aggressor Star Destroyer would be in the Empire:

In the base game and lore: the Aggressor Class Star Destroyer and Vengeance Class Frigates were experimental ships being made at Kuat before Tyber stole the Prototypes. So itd be cool to see the Ships used by who they were Designed by

One ship that has needed an upgrade for players is The Liberation. The unique unit hero of Captain Shack. His unit becomes outdated rather quickly. Keeping him as a battlecruiser is fine. But could you make a mod that adds some upgrades. Maybe the first upgrade adds better starfighters to the loadout. And the second upgrade after the first upgrades the weapons and shields to have a better punch. Many players like keeping it going late game. But it is hard with how weak it is. Could you help? Thank you for this mod. It's great.

As a proud member of ARMCO it has been part of the plans I just need to figure it out exactly. As Shack himself has mentioned liking the Lib as it is, so current idea is to combine the Infantry Academy Loadout and an X-Wing loadout as a Liberation upgrade for the late game. But maintaining the glass cannon aspect as the vessel is finally outdated
I know that my comment does not follow the regulations implemented for the theme of the channel, it is not a particular unit or a request, it is simply my little knowledge of mods, which may be useful to you.

I wanted to contribute my two cents: there is a relatively similar mod called "AoTR: Dark Times 1.4" it is not updated and it does not seem like it will be updated, the point is that there are large quantities of units already modeled that you could use for your mod. There is also another one called: "Fall of the Empire (Formerly Fall of the Empire-Dark Times Merger)"
another great option, of course always asking permission. but hey, excellent mod.

(also this is just my humble wish, it would be great if you could add all the Clone War units including the different colorful battalions of the clones and as the investigations progress, they become the units that we currently know) the "Star Wars" mod Battlefront Commander" has literally every model you can imagine to do it.

("and trying to follow the theme of the channel, the reason why adding all the already accessible units of the clones to the empire would be for 3 reasons:
1 It would be great to be able to play with the clone units, especially all the neighborhoods that were there, while you advance in time and evolve in the empire that we all know.
2 would seem more interesting to me in terms of lore, to embody the role of the clones but from the end of the republic, and then advance towards the imperial era, "of course having the possibility of staying in time wearing those cute clone suits"
3 I think that the only mod that implemented it is "alliance" and it would be fundamental in the story and the possibilities that the "AoTR" mod gives us to be able to use the clones with all their units, and as we update, lose them or evolve them. while we see how the other factions do preserve them and even improve them.")

Dark Times holds a deep place in my heart and I'd be absolutely honored to use whatever they would wish to give me, HOWEVER, unless directly approached by them or another mod I want to prove/earn the right to ask for models and units by adding some myself first. Thus I can truly appreciate what they have given me and so many others to play with. However I do have some assets I'm eyeing on Modb that were given as a free resource to everybody and I will use some as placeholders soon.

As for the Clone Wars fear not as it's low on the priority list BUT it's on the list! Hailfire Droids, mixed Rebel and Droid units, BX Commando Droids, and Imperial Cloning Projects will one day be in the mod. Just one day, until I have my own team I have to prioritize the war between Rebels and Black Sun first as it inspired the mod.

I've got a few ideas for the Rebels in particular, so I'll shoot
*Clone Wars Veterans: 501st deserters, retired clones with an itch for vengance, or shinies from the more recent Kaminoan Rebellion, most rebel clones are forever regretful of their execution of their former Jedi Commanders, these clones have turned their backs on the Empire, and in honor of the Jedi have aligned with the Alliance to Restore the Republic, even if it means working with separatist droids.

Able to be recruited at a training refit of the Venator in limited number (5 or platoons, 2 stealth), Clone Wars Veterans come in 2 variants, platoons (3 squads of 7 or 8) and stealth squads (1 squad of 8, with 2 commando technicians). Platoons have a wide variety of equipment and can effectively fill any role, from using missiles against walkers, using their medics to stay alive, using a mix of rifles and rotary cannons to screen against infantry, all the way to picking off enemies from afar with their 3 snipers. Their abilities would be Firing Positions and Rush Down.
Clone Stealth Squads comprise of ARC Troopers and Clone Commandos, and are excellent at eliminating infantry and can participate in stealth raids. Their medic allows for prolonged engagements, and their technicians can steal turrets and vehicles, while repairing vehicles if they haven't stolen any yet (in a radius).

They would quite possibly be the best infantry in the game, but considering that they were raised for nothing but war, I think it would be fitting, and it could be balanced with limited numbers, hefty cost, and lengthy "training" (could just use 'requesting assistance' voice lines for it). It's probably only fair if they cost somewhere between 3000 and 4000 per platoon. As for the Stealth Squad, maybe around 2000 or 2500.

Lastly, I'd like mandalorian ships and vehicles fighting for the Rebels. With 2.10, my hopes for this being added in an official update have ceased, as they're now even more exclusive (to the Zann Consortium). Their roles and stats would largely remain the same, and give some ability for the rebels to bypass shields. Plus, it's accurate to the old cannon, as Fenn Shysa's Mandalorian Protectors rallied behind Liea in the GCW.
Everything here should be subject to change, and credit goes to the Dark Times submod for most of this, and I'm honestly just waiting for it to update. I still use it to this day, but I'd definitely use this mod for its Rebel-aligned CIS. (Edit: Spacing)

Focus on yourself first and foremost, I do this as I am a player who also wants these things. Also it's an AoTR rule to not commission and I do not want to upset them when they have already helped me out

Addressing the comment on Dark Times...same bro. Dark Times is still my favorite submod for AoTR and I made this purely cause I wanted to play "Dark Times" while also adding my own stuff.

Second as to the Rebel Clones... This is a maybe, it's well thought out and has a good lore backing, I would probably change some things but if I find myself with clone models I might toy with this idea.

And as to the Mandos that stuff will fall under the Black Sun vs Rebel war, as the gate keeping of Mandalorians will end even if I have to do it myself! But yeah Fenn, Sabine, Clan Skirata, and other stuff is in the wheelhouse of ideas that fall under that update. Though I need to pick out what Mando Units SHOULD be available and which don't fit like the Kandosii

I don't care who I have to see to make it happen, I don't care how much work it will take, I don't care if I stay up all night doing all the needed work, I will make that a reality when that mod updates

A cool addition to the unit is to incorporate the faction colours if available. like for instance instead of the CIS units keeping original colours they take on a red hue when purchased by the rebels. im not sure how hard that would be, but it would be rather cool.

In the works for when I start/learn texturing, it’ll be easier than modeling but it will still be a lot of work

I don't know if anyone has already said this yet, but allowing the Empire to also build Naboo, and Corellian units would be neat.

clone units such as clone platoons , clone arc troopers and clone commandos that can be specificly built on kamino so the planet has a proper use. it would be useful to add to combat stormtroopers as droids are not as effective as imperial units and can bearly hold there own.

to start you can use imperial shocktroopers as the base for the clone trooper platoon (just a suggestion) it could be used by black sun or rebels you could make clone platoons 4k credits arcs 7k and commandos 10k
