No fall damage doesn't sound OP, if this were to be a secondary. Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol makes you never take fall damage.

And if you don't want it to be misc, well, that's what it is, so deal wit hit.

Demoman has a set of boots that replace his primary, I don't see why it's any different for scout to have some.

the thing about this item is that it would have to have something special to make it worth not having a pistol or bonk or milk
+30% running speed *does not sack with BFB only makes the BFB boost charge faster*
+ No fall damage
+ Taunting will kick the person in front of you *with your scattergun out since its not equipable*
- User dies slowly in water *IE shortcircits*
- 10 Health
I was considering having half the time for fire to balance out the water part but it would't matter too much you can still be milked and jarated out of fire.

Just naming stupid ideas because the thing is I know its not going to be added as anything but a misc but hey might as well post for sake of posting.

I think slowing down very much would also be a good option

+10 percent speed (Since he is now lighter)
-15 percent health OR +15 percent health (Since he did lose his legs, however the Engineer's Gunslinger does promote health)
-Replaces your third slot (So you can't stun enemies or triple jump)
+10% More Ammunition (Since his legs are stronger because they are made of steel, he can carry just a wee bit more.)

I think it should be a weapon, but un like others I believe it be a good replacement for a bat (Melee Slot). It be really good for death run, and the jump decrease can be counterfeited with the winger, but over all youd only get an advantage of movement, not damage. Since the wingers decreased damage, it hences it would be good for death run maps. I know it might be crazy to replace the bats but just think about it. (Oh and I agree with your choices of the advantages and disadvantages for the item)

I so want it to be a weapon, but it will probabley never happen, cause I dont think Valve cares about the commenters opinions xD.

there has not been and never will be a melee weapon that cannot melee. what would happen if you ran out of ammo for all your weapons while using something like that, and have nothing else to use? either that you will end up in the civillian pose, or the game might crash.
