Compatibility Request
Hi,
Would be possible to make the mod compatible with "Travel the Distance"? 🤔
Thanks! 😉

It is already compatible as far as I can tell, see the comment I posted earlier today. Or have you observed anything unexpected while playing?

> TTD does introduce additional travel mechanics, so I tested it to be sure. The "Visit Far off Realm" travel works as expected, and will never be interrupted by Travelers events (as all other landed character travel). The TTD travel on marriage is essentially replaced by the same Travelers feature without any strange effects.

I am sorry, Pharaox!
Emmmh...I have just missed that comment!! 😱

No...to be honest I was only aware there was a possible issue with the TTD travel on marriage, but since you tell me there is no strange effect that solves everything!! Thanks a lot! :)

mod has game breaking bug, it ruined my 40 hours game, the war ended and I'm still in prison

almost certainly because my character was traveling to the prison when the war ended

@4 4Ever Hm, I haven't observed such behavior while testing. Is this reproducible without other mods, if yes, could you give me more info how to do it?

Note that the victory conditions of certain wars imprison the loser. If you lost e.g. a faction war against your liege while imprisoned, you would be first released (since you are a "valuable hostage") and then immediately imprisoned again.

the most straightforward way to reproduce would be to random an enemy leader while he's travelling to your capital

other than that surrender while you're travelling to their capital

I'm not really sure if it'll be imprisoned or just bugged, but since it happens when you ransom the enemy, I don't believe so

happened twice to me

@4 4Ever I am not able to reproduce this. I tried ending a war while the captured enemy was traveling to my capital (something I've already done while testing and in actual gameplay dozens of times), and also surrendering while traveling to the enemy capital after being captured. In both cases (which are actually the same, just the position of the player is different), the imprisoned character was freed after the war ended and they headed back to their capital (if they were still landed). Ransoming (or just freeing) the enemy leader before ending the war didn't change anything, they were not imprisoned again at the point the war ended while still traveling to their capital.

I still think that you might have been waging a war using a CB that imprisons the loser when the war ends. In vanilla these are mostly faction wars against your liege, but if you are using other mods they might have added it to their wars, or changed some of the vanilla wars.
Can you make this compatible with EK2? If not that's fine.
