> TTD does introduce additional travel mechanics, so I tested it to be sure. The "Visit Far off Realm" travel works as expected, and will never be interrupted by Travelers events (as all other landed character travel). The TTD travel on marriage is essentially replaced by the same Travelers feature without any strange effects.
Emmmh...I have just missed that comment!! 😱
No...to be honest I was only aware there was a possible issue with the TTD travel on marriage, but since you tell me there is no strange effect that solves everything!! Thanks a lot! :)
almost certainly because my character was traveling to the prison when the war ended
Note that the victory conditions of certain wars imprison the loser. If you lost e.g. a faction war against your liege while imprisoned, you would be first released (since you are a "valuable hostage") and then immediately imprisoned again.
other than that surrender while you're travelling to their capital
I'm not really sure if it'll be imprisoned or just bugged, but since it happens when you ransom the enemy, I don't believe so
happened twice to me
I still think that you might have been waging a war using a CB that imprisons the loser when the war ends. In vanilla these are mostly faction wars against your liege, but if you are using other mods they might have added it to their wars, or changed some of the vanilla wars.
