Hey there! Was loving the mod until I encountered a bug a few days ago that makes it so I can no longer pull up my settlement menu when this mod is active.I have a few QoL mods running as well, but this one was working fine with them when I first installed it. Nothing has changed in terms of the mods I do/don't use, and this issue just recently popped up. Thank you!

The recent update modified the settlement menu a lot, can you please provide me the list of mods you are using?

I've tested toggling all my mods off and on one at a time, and doing clusters. All these mods have been working fine as long as I can remember, even hen I installed this one. Just recently, though, this is the only mod that makes the settlement menu not pop up. Here's a screenshot of the 7 mods I'm running for necesse.

The conflict is most likely with Hardened Settlements, as it modifies the settlement menu as well. If you would like to keep using it, you are free to disable the settlement modifications that my mod introduces in the mod's config file.

Here are the steps:
  • Go to %APPDATA%/Roaming/Necesse/cfg/mods
  • Open settlementexpansion.cfg
  • Set the setting enableSettlementLevelModification to false

Strange that it changed so suddenly from working to not working. Appreciate the fix option either way. Keep up the awesome work!

It's actually not sudden, there was an update to the mod recently that overhauled the menu quite a lot, check the recent change notes to see what was added!

Hello! I think this might constitute a bug.

When I'm clearing underground zones and there are NPCs nearby (explorers and/or miners) they aggro when I break ore deposits, boxes or even stone walls. I'm guessing that the aggro AI works by checking if the player is attacking or looting something close to the NPC.
Could this be an oversight or is it the expected behavior?

Other than that inconvenience, the mod is great and I'm loving it!

Hello! Thank you for trying out the mod.

Does this occur in a cave under a Village or a settlement that you don't own?

I released a quick hotfix, make sure to re-subscribe to the mod to ensure you have the fix. As AI is tricky, something could still go wrong so please do let me know if you notice anything else.

Again, thank you for using the mod ^^

It seems to have worked! NPCs no longer aggro when breaking stuff in caves under NPC settlements/towns

Glad to hear it!

- Not sure what the trigger is, but it looks like the settlers sometimes seem to change furniture preference.
- Also (not sure if it's a bug or not) Deadwood preference seems very rare compared to some of the others.
