Ideas for things to manage
Because it's probably easier to write stuff down here, if you're taking suggestions, I'm willing to offer some things that can happen. Again, I don't know how hard modding Rimworld is so idk how much of this is a tall order, I'm just spit balling here.

An idea is to have your Lord/Overlord/Cryptek/Whoever has higher intelligence actually have a breaking threshold, rather than being immune to it. It would need some messing around with, you'd need to add some mental breaks while taking out some others, but I think it would make it more interesting, especially if you lock some research behind having one of them in the Colony.

An idea for a mental break would actually be 'dysphorakh'. It's a condition introduced in The Twice Dead King. Very short version is that the necron begins to think they're still flesh and blood, and they wonder why they can't breathe and where their skin is.

Another idea is needing to keep units in a reskinned cryptosleep casket. You only unseal them in the event of a raid.

@Stake from Jate Farm Sorry, pal, I just read this thread - since if I'm not the thread owner, Steam won't even let me know. I think this is kind of brilliant idea. As per now I'm recoding stuffs for Necrons for 1.5, I'll consider your suggestion after things are sorted out!
