What is this mod?
What is this mod?

Well let's just start with, what it's not:
• Firefight.
• There are no such thing as rounds.
• AI are not placed randomly.
• No premade tags are used (like Flood, or marine tags, etc). Everything was developed from scratch and took several years to complete.
• AAA studio working on this mod... But I am only one man.

This mod is a basic foundation to support Multiplayer offline with bots/AI. Each map is tailored to spec, allowing the player to play against AI on retail maps, keeping you on point playing with or against your friends online. These bot's are programmed independently with their own temperamental system that will influence or impact the overall gameplay, all without using the Difficulty tags to intervene, and without scripting "goto" points.

These bots are able to learn overtime, pickup certain items- just to name a few, keeping you focused on your matchmaking skills. Bot Boot Camp is not just a multiplayer mod that works for only Team Slayer matches, but all game variants in mind. This mod aims to be a complete package allowing players to test and create game modes for future game nights.

These bots will run at full tilt around whatever variant you have in mind.

For the Campaign, I wanted to tell a fairly short simple story that could help address the issue, bridging the Campaign and Multiplayer together in some way. One that is non-canon in between a canon timeline. A Spartan Training Facility or Simulator of some kind, making use of the Multiplayer maps. This would be where Spartans "Players" rule the battlefield and strive to earn the highest rank (That's us, reaching leaderboards, etc).


::The Synopsis::
At the end of Reach, you see a Marine (unknown at this time) standing at a clear distance away from Noble Six's end. Discovering a vessel through the wreckage and debris, the UNSC was testing various top-secret projects with at this time. Deep from within the destruction and rubble, escapes a near death experience aboard The Drone (Cut content), reconvening with the Pillar of Autumn through slipspace. As the ship encroaches upon the ring, with no landing gear, the player ends up gliding into the hangar, crashes down into one of the ports, grinding to a halt. After exiting the broken battered vessel, you meet up with with a few Marines to you get back on your feet.

This is where you are free to explore the entire playable area of the first level, before the main events of Halo CE's timeline.

The end is still very open as there are a few running theories that the Marine you play, doesn't survive trying to exit the simulator, once the ship is boarded by the Covenant (the Simulator is in the darkened area with Covenant from the main story in CE's tutorial phase before the bridge.)

There are many things that this mod could be, however this is what I was called to do. Please give it a go, and keep this one in your back pocket as it will receive updates very regularly for your enjoyment and hopefully more years to come!
