As for the results, if the US is AI controlled, the loss of ships will always be historical, you can refer to Wikipedia or other historical sources.
So what does the third wave attack actually do then? Other than the text line. HOI4 has no shore facilities or oil depots. Is there some reason the results of the attack aren't shown to the player? Is it supposed to be a mystery?
In real life only 3 of the ships (BB Arizona, BB Oklahoma, BB Utah) at Pearl Harbor were permanently destroyed. The rest were repaired, some very quickly. Pearl Harbor has a shallow port which allowed recovery of the sunk ships. 21 American ships were damaged or lost in the attack, of which all but 3 were repaired and returned to service.

Intensive salvage operations continued for another year, a total of some 20,000 man-hours under water. Arizona and the target ship Utah were too heavily damaged for salvage and remain where they were sunk. Oklahoma, while successfully raised, was never repaired and capsized while under tow to the mainland in 1947. The Nevada proved particularly difficult to raise and repair.
Japan losses: Twenty nine aircraft were lost total, nine in the first wave (three fighters, one dive bomber, and five torpedo bombers) and 20 in the second (six fighters and fourteen dive bombers) with another 74 damaged by anti-aircraft fire from the ground. Five midget Submarines were lost.
