Going to your points: the killstreak does indeed begin at 5 kills, which is when you will develop the blush, and then 10 the hearts, I probably did not convey that well, my bad. As for the size, I'll toy with lowering the size or increasing tranparency. In lighter areas it looks perfect, but it can sometimes cover a bit too much. This was my first attempt at creating a killstreak effect, so I appreciate the feedback!
While I don't like the concept (even though I am still one who can lean into the pink as hell gay furry theritory... sadly) I seriously appreciate that you are willing to take the time and improve your work based on feedback. Not only that, but being open to new concepts and ideas. That is something that I highly appreciate and I wish more people would take critisism like this, instead of laughing at you, or getting mad because "someone dared to not like my big shiny piece of garbage that I call art".
For that one reason and despite me not being the biggest fan of this one, I genually want to see what else you can make in the future.
So keep it up.
And personally that's the approach I'd take with it, I can't imagine the bush working particularly great in green, and tough it could work as a killstreak effect, and would probably be one of if not the most coherent of options, it's unlikely to scale to kills particularly well, nor does it make much sense in cintext, not that having it be an unusual would make it that much better in that department.
The only reason not to go through with that, that I can think of is - unusuals don't usually reside in that spot, which would likely make it a pretty missleading, but I'm not sure I'd call that a serious issue personallu
Well since the best bet here is to make the efect more resctive, I might be going a bit far but may I suggest cat whiskers as one of the options for the next kill threshold. That's once againg going back to the kinds of loadout I think would go well with the effect to begin with. the " :3 " face might also be valid for that. It also has the added effect of making the effect strictly playful in appearance, as opposed to any number of ways one could get exhilarated to the point of blushing, but it's not like one could properly express adrenaline pumping as the result of action with the given sheen colors, so I think it'd work out alright.
