Issues with playing the map

I subbed but it doesn't show up under maps do i have to move the file?

Unless you are using the modded setup and have the file selected then yes, you have to move the file. Go to my documents>my games>Civ V>MODS>Hexagon Warfare and copy the map file. Then go to computer>local disk>program files>steam>steamapps>common>Civ V>assets>maps and paste the file in there. Then you should be able to play the map without going through modded setup.

copy that file into the folder that i mentioned in my previous comment and it should work

what if you dont have the disc and got the game throught steam

and a windows 8 computer

the file should still be there, steam saves the files to the computer so that you can play them whilst not connected to steam
