Random idea
Like tainted keeper except 6-12 coin hearts
Start with 99 coins
Slowly the amount of money you have drains like 1-2/second (or more)
When you have 0 coins left you start losing coin hearts (slower than the normal drain)
The coin hearts can NEVER be recovered (maybe some birthright bs will do otherwise)

Basically, when you buy an item you speed up your rate of death and you don't have much time for midmaxxing
Keeper speedrun

Maybe for bosses enemies related to floor could spawn around you? Maybe the drain just stops? Maybe coins for every hit (though basically just says you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥ against ultra greedier)
Or maybe nothing at all for bosses and you gotta speed up

Humiliated Greed
You start with 999 coins and 12 coin hearts.
Money no longer spawns. All items cost money like Tainted greed.
Everyitme you spend or lose about 83 pennies you lose a coin heart. You cannot regain coin hearts in any way.
Everytime you get hit you lose 3 - 5 coins pre womb, and 6 to 10 on womb and later.

I wrote down an in-depth idea I had for a kind of "Humiliated Bethany" while I was designing another mod. I was thinking about creating a mod for her, myself, but I'm busy with other stuff, and I saw you were accepting suggestions.

(TL;DR every Tainted Bethany and Bethany mechanic taken to the extreme)

The idea I had was:

She would start with an item that's a kind of combination between Book of Virtues and Lemegeton in her active slot, which would be a 6-charge active item that spawns random summonable item wisps when used, but they shoot weak tears like when you have Book of Virtues while using Lemegeton. However, if an item wisp is an item that modifies tears in some way, such as a stat up, replacement effect, or status effect, then the tears it shoots would be modified by the effects of that item.

When you pick up another active item, the Lemegeton-BoV hybrid will turn into a passive, just like Book of Virtues. This passive item will keep track of how many charges are spent to activate any other active item you use, and automatically spawn a wisp, every time 6 charges are used. There would be a little hexagram (like the one on Lemegeton, itself) in the UI, that would visually keep track of the charges, lighting up the points of the hexagram for each stored charge, and playing a little animation when it spawns a wisp. The wisps spawned this way would have a chance to pull from the same item pool as the active item, like how Lemegeton has a chance to pull from the room's pool. If the active item is infinite use or can be easily recharged in each room, then, instead of keeping track of how many charges are used to activate it, the passive Lemegeton would instead keep track of how many rooms are cleared, and, once 6 rooms have been cleared, will spawn a wisp the next time the active item is used.

She would start out with normal base stats, except she would have the same health system as The Lost and Tainted lost. She would also start out with an extra life.
Any time she picks up an item that grants a heart container, she would gain another copy of the extra life she started with (proportional to the number of heart containers) These extra lives would revive her in the same room, without having to redo it.
Rather than worrying about charges, like Bethany or Tainted Bethany (her hexagram counter would show up where the charges would), she can instead use active items as many times as she wants, with a catch. Any time she uses an active item that isn't fully charged, she has a very small chance to explode and die, while also dealing massive damage to the enemies in the room. This chance would be slightly increased for every missing charge bar (the difference in chance between no missing charges and 1 missing charge would be greater than the difference between 1 missing charge and 2 missing charges, etc.)

Unlike Tainted Bethany, who gets less stats from items, Humiliated Bethany simply can't keep most passive items. She wouldn't be able to naturally encounter any items that either aren't an active, aren't a story item, aren't a summonable item, or aren't an HP up. As for the items she can encounter, she can only "pick up" items that are actives, story items, or non-summonable HP ups. Any time she tries to pick up a summonable item, it turns into one of her wisps, instead.
She would start out only being able to have as many max wisps as Tainted Bethany, but her Birthright (which would be added to her inventory if she picked it up, kinda like Tainted Isaac) would increase her maximum number of wisps, so that, for, example, rather than having 6 max wisps in the innermost ring, she would be able to have 8. Or, rather than having 8 max wisps in the second ring, she would be able to have 12, etc.

i just noticed that I didn't really account for some of her summonable items, when I came up with her "health" system. She also might be a bit too fragile.

That huge comment I left was mostly just a copy-paste of the original idea that I wrote down, but there are a couple changes I would make to it, now that I'm thinking about it.
I would make it so that, if any of her wisps are items that give some kind of on-hit effect, that effect would also be activated when that specific item wisp is hit or deleted from going over the max wisps (besides just activating when she loses one of her lives or uses Dull Razor)
I would also give her the same % chance as Tainted Lost to find Holy Cards (which would not stop her from exploding from active item abuse).

Besides that, she's pretty much perfect... I think.

Edit: oh, and, I forgot to write this down, but she's meant to still gain an extra life when she turns a summonable HP up into a wisp. And, she should still gain/spawn pickups, when she converts an item that gives pickups into a wisp. Also, I didn't think of this until literally right now, but she should probably also be able to find items that give extra lives, along with non-summonable passive items that only give pickups and nothing else. And, her inherent extra lives should take effect before any other revival item, but after Soul of Lazarus.

Humiliated Apollyon: Apollyon now gains double the locusts, but cannot shoot. Every time he acquires an item, he automatically activates Nothingness, which gives a stat up from void, and 2 locusts.

humiliated appolyon, he would void one of his own items every floor granting him stats and/or an abyss locust, and each room he would consume 5 of his pickups,granting him a runeshard or 10 horsemen locusts(the ones from the seven seals item) he would also gulp any trinket he picks up, fyi the consumtion of items and pickups is forced.

humiliated jacob, basically, jacob cant do anything other then walk with VERY SLOW SPEED, you can control dark esau this time, if jacob gets hit by literally anything your dead, esau is chained to jacob, if you go too far away from jacob the chain will break and you die, this chain is pretty long ranged so you'll be fine, basically just making this a harder version of tainted forgotton, no hp ups including holy mantle can be taken by jacob, only esau can pick them up.

esau of course isnt just a op character, its basically just flight with a pony, esau starts with three black hearts, and jacob with half a soul heart, this soul heart cant be turned to one whole soul heart, it will stay half a soul heart no matter what, only thing jacob can pick up are things like the shield of trinity, basically only defensive items, both jacob and esau cant shoot tears, the only means of attacking is esau's dash attack, thats basically it, not alot else to say

HUMILIATED KEEPER

Cannot acquire coins; every cent vanishes as soon as it hits the ground. Keys and bombs always spawn as doubles to compensate. Whenever you enter a shop, it either spawns Super Greed or a special shopkeeper boss, and you have to kill them to get anything from the shop.

Rather than quad or quint shot, HKeeper only has double shot, but has standard tears AND damage. Passive Humble Bundle effect. Items that would only spawn coins, or only have effects that spawn coins, would either not show up like Tainted Lost and hp items or have a specific effect like all stats up.

HKeeper has 12 whole coin containers... But, as coins don't drop, you can't heal. Maybe the coin ITEMS give you one.

humiliated forgotten
"bare bones"

play as only spirit like how Tforgotten does, but it's more like the lost where you die in one hit. you also start with a pocket active, the bag-o-bones. ALL pedestals, including shops will turn into bones (example ribs, fingers, spine, all that stuff). if you take enough bones, you can give yourself stats for the floor, or the run depending on the bones, and how they were spawned.

Hforgotten will also start with the bone that regular forgotten has. you know, for the funny.

bag-o-bones can craft items, for example if you were to make a full ribcage (collect a certain number of ribs) you can get a quality 4 item. if you manage to collect a full skeleton, you can make a birthright. essentially what the birthright would do is that it would make it so that enemies also drop bones, encouraging you to full clear a floor even more.

Infinite use pocket active that gives +1 damage for half a second on use.
