Never actually was fond of herbivore races as they are not only harder to play but also force you into a farming life style (which contradicts the fact you mainly travel and the unstackable food).
Thinking of it like a wolf in sheep clothing except making them just pure omnivores (similar to how FU has Peglaci which look like goats only for the race to be omnivorous due to the climate they live in, would be a nice add-on feature as assuming that the species does live in a colder climate which would get rid of most plants)

Sure, Ik how you feel. Diets can certainly feel restraining when you wanna enjoy an array of foods, and the benefits of a restricting diet are minimal bat best. More cons then pros for sure.
I'll make it a separate mod.
Edit: link to the omnivore version. I just changed the diet, but if there are issues, tell me, as I didn't test it.
