wrong range and melee scaling
instead of scaling positively, it scales negatively. so the ranged/melee dammage you actually get is less that what it says you should

You get a negative ranged and melee scaling because they both get added to the -100% base damage modifier.
The total melee modifier is 75-100 = -25% and ranged damage is 50-100 = -50%.
I know it's a little confusing but that's just how the base damage modifier works in brotato
