1. Go to your l4d2 addon folder which can be found in \Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop.
2. Find this mod which can be found with the workshop id so type in 3119570614 and the vpk should come up. Drag and drop the entire scripts folder inside the vpk onto your desktop into its own folder. Name it whatever you want. DO NOT ZIP THE FOLDER.
3. Go into the folder you just named and find director_base_addon.nut. Open it using a Notepad
of your choice and scroll down all the way to the bottom of the .nut file. Go hog wild.
4. Go to \Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\bin and locate vpk.exe. Once located you can create a shortcut to your desktop if you want to save time and stress. Makes it easier. Drag the folder you named in the previous step onto the vpk.exe shortcut and it will create a new vpk with the name of the folder.
5. Download the Left 4 Dead 2 Authoring Tools from your library (comes with your copy of the game) and open it. Select workshop manager and hit the plus sign under "File". Fill out everything and MAKE VISIBILITY PRIVATE OR FRIENDS ONLY. If not it would count as a reupload of the base mod and ChimiChamo will be very angry. After you fill everything out hit upload and subscribe to your mod page.
6. Viola! Hope this helped!
hey bud, you uh...forgot to say how to rename them. this only helps with changing the things they say.
