Everyone should put this in there set launch options, it helps with sloading and other things, heap size assumes that your using more than 3gb of ram.
(right click on l4d2, click properties, click set launch options, copy past the line of code below)
-console -refresh 120 -heapsize 1572864 -high -noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -noipx -nojoy -novid
-novid removes the movie at start of the game
-nojoy stops the controller setting for XBOX 360 from loading.
-refresh can be set to 60-120, screen refresh rate ingame.
the other you will have to look up as I don,t recall what they do.
-should i copy/paste all of those console commands/launch options into my launch options box, or just the ones you listed in your second comment?
-can i use the heap size launch option for some of my other games, such as keeping Skyrim from crashing?
anyways thanks for replying
