Suggestions for Modded Characters' Insane Mode Unlockables?!
Do you wonder what unlockables the characters from other popular mods could get when they defeat the final bosses in Community Remix's Insane Mode?!

Quality 2
  • Upon taking an angel deal, heals all of Isaac's Red Hearts.
  • If Isaac is at full red health, grants a Soul Heart instead.

    Prank's Flyer
    You just got pranked, bro
    Unlock: Defeat Insane Mode as Dante & Charon.
    Quality 3
  • Defeating a boss room or challenge room will grant 2 Vanity.
  • The starting room of each floor will contain Prank, as well as a few items/pickup capsules/Divine Commands for sale, and a Stat Wheel.

Out of left field pick: Reverie! (yes the touhou mod)

Lithopedion
Blood from a stone
Unlock: Beat Insane Mode as Eika.
Quality 2
  • Orbital familiar that blocks shots.
  • Upon blocking five shots, dies and spawns a friendly Blood Bony.
  • Respawns in the next room.

    Bubble Pipe
    Sophisticated!
    Unlock: Beat Insane Mode as Satori.
    Quality 2
  • Active item (2 room charge)
  • On use, spawns a cluster of bubbles in the direction Isaac is shooting.
  • Bubbles act like stationary Lost Contact tears, and deal twice Isaac's damage.

    Guppy's Puppy
    Wait, what?
    Unlock: Beat Insane Mode as Seija.
    Quality 3
  • Black and white puppy familiar that wanders around the room randomly.
  • Spawns Harbinger locusts when Isaac shoots.
  • Contributes towards both the Guppy and Max transformations.

    Second Wind
    Climactic resurrection
    Unlock: Beat Insane Mode as Hourai.
    Quality 3
  • Acts as an extra life.
  • The revival is different depending on the chapter:
  • Chapter 1: Revive with half a heart in the previous room.
  • Chapter 2: Revive with full red health in the previous room.
  • Chapter 3: Revive with full red health in the current room.
  • Chapter 4: Revive with full red health in the current room. Deals 100 damage to all enemies.
  • Chapter 5: Revive with full red health in the current room. Deals 100 damage to all enemies. Spawns a Boss item.
  • Chapter 6+: Revive with full red health in the current room. Deals 100 damage to all enemies. Spawns two Boss items.

Mangled Mouse
Look what the cat dragged in
Unlock: Beat Insane Mode as Bael.
  • Secret rooms contain an additional Cat item, a Wet Dice Shard, and a Ball of Cat.

  • Gives Isaac a luck-based chance to shoot a corn kernel tear that spawns a Hollow Minion on impact with an enemy.

    Golem's Orders
    Hightail it there
    Unlock: Beat Insane Mode as Golem.
    Quality 2
  • At the start of each floor, reveals and highlights a random special room on the map. The room will be opened for free, and have spikes removed. from its door
  • Upon entering the highlighted room, Isaac is granted rewards based on how few rooms he visited to get there.
  • Rewards include pickups, permanent stat boosts, and pedestal items.

VHS Tape
Instant death... eventually
Unlock: Beat Insane Mode as Mei.
Quality 1
  • Active item (8 room charge)
  • On use, briefly shows a ring overlaid over the screen.
  • In the seventh hostile room after using the item, the item will instantly kill every non-boss enemy in the room, and deal 200 damage to bosses.

Gonggong
Tidal wave!
Unlock: Beat Insane Mode as Andromeda.
Quality 3
  • Planetarium item.
  • Double-tapping a fire key causes Isaac to shoot a wave.
  • Waves have piercing and Knockout Drops-esque knockback.
  • Waves travel along the ground, and are stopped by rocks and pits.



    Samael's Tab
    Repeat customer
    Unlock: Beat Insane Mode as Samael.
    Quality 4
  • Active item (12 room charge)
  • On use, spawns a pre-paid Ferryman.
