I think you should add similar areas to backrooms ff2
this is the addon in question that is not working on this map

That is quite strange, the addon works fine for me. Maybe there is something else conflicting with the addon for you? I will do some more testing on my side in the meantime.

i tested this with that setting turned on that makes vj npcs detect you regardless of where and how far you are by placing one in that large dark room while i was standing near that easter egg and was watching them with that mini map addon and they didn't move at all till i got near that one i spawned even then it gives up after i get away a few feet from it even tho i'm in clear sight

so today i disabled two addons that i thought were the culprit (lambda players and drgbase) to no avail, some more info for you i had this map downloaded last year when i did a fresh install of gmod and this was map on page two of my addons and even back then when i had vj base installed they wouldn't chase on this map and i had no other addon installed at the time that would have affected the nav for npcs other than drgbase at the time

After doing some more research and testing, I don't really know how to fix this. I think it may have something to do with the way that the map is broken up into sections in the compile process, but that is honestly just a guess. Is this just happening on this map or has this happened on other maps as well?

i think i may know whats going on with these they might need node graph to get around as they might be tied to half life npcs due to the zombies from the other required pack being hl npc's
