How to reproduce:
I am using the latest versions of the game and mods. If I turn off
I replaced the character select song a while back, but after installing DGR it went back to playing the original song, which isn't even present in Duck Game's files anymore.
Before subscribing to this mod, I made sure the game launched before subscribing. It did of course. Once this mod is loaded, the game loads the assets. The loading log gets kinda glitchy. A couple lines get overlaps a couple times, then after it finishes, it freezes and then says I ran out of memory. It says I may have too many mods.
I've got 12GB of RAM and 4GB of VRAM. How the hell did it manage to run out of memory?!
Login to your router if you haven't already. It's probably your default password.
admin
password
If that doesn't work it's probably a randomly generated password on the router itself. Look for a sticker strip or digital display and it should provide that information.
Make sure to CHANGE your default password to something you'll remember and a strong one at that. Then go to firewall and look for the security level settings.
Each router is different so try to look up your model and some google posts. Change the security level to MEDIUM first. If it still doesn't work, try LOW. If it's still not working, then try to some more research on your model pertaining to online gaming connection problems.
Regardles of the above, after you're done playing; ALWAYS CHANGE THINGS BACK. Put your security to high and leave it there when you don't need to host games.
If you don't wanna do all that, then just get someone else to host.
i'll try clean-wiping everything (i dont have much in terms of settings etc so its whatever) and i'll see if that fixes it, otherwise something you pushed broke your whizbang mod
ALSO, finding DGR using the steam workshop itself doesnt seem to work?
If you search for the keyword "rebuilt", you dont find this mod. And if you search by name, it doesnt appear. I was starting to feel crazy looking for this.
In the end I had to use Google to find the page, which showed me the author (vennacular), then on steam I had to 'add' venn as a friend to look at his profile to eventually get to this workshop item.
IDK maybe im banned somewhere and thats why i dont get the result lol but also maybe it doesnt show up easily for others too, just wanted to point it out.
I wish everyone well :)
then i re-subbed to the mod, and it is now working.
strange. Maybe something one of the Chinese players did when they crashed my game recently was related to some of this.
Probably a 'me' thing :)
Nah, had that problem too, rebuilt straight up doesn't work, reinstalled and didn't detect it, i haven't done the clean install but not a you thing
