Suggestions
atm i'm mostly tweaking this mods functions, any feedback is welcome. There is some custom stuff in the works, the square rugs and the fancy ones are gonna get additional pieces if i can manage. Also i was making this for cosmetic reasons and didn't add any realism to it, if people would prefer it to be more realistic i can do a version that requires skills and more materials

Apologies; just saw this after posting my comment.

I would prefer some more realism -- if for no reason other than to get people out of their bases and looking for the mats to craft. Knitting needles, some thread and a boat load of yarn would be great requirements.

Not sure if you would have to have a separate mod id or if you could just add some Sandbox Options to configure the required mats. I'm guessing the latter is a bit more involved as having anything in the sandbox options seems to be a rarity for mods.

i have plans to tweak crafting, i'll probably do it with sandbox options since it's a light mod. Right now i'm working on context menu stuff but once i'm satisfied with that then i'll tackle it

With how tile properties work there may be a need to choose between looks. the current one i have makes the tiles line up better while the default one they overlap in a weird way on the floor. The issue is with the current properties it doesn't render the rugs as being on the floor so anything that renders as on the floor will appear under the rug, same with furniture that spawns ontop of it and loads in before it
