so I've been gathering mods to prepare to go on a sort of progression to go from casual all the way up to the most brutal difficulty combination i can come up with. right now I haven't gotten into hard mode of my first world in this run (while still having considerable progress).

then i decide to turn this mod on as well as a few others that were meant to be used for other worlds, just so that I don't have compatibility problems later.

this resulted in my world immediately becoming a legendary masochist world (at easiest) due to one of the mods i activated...

I then went to look for a way to try to fix my mistake, witch ended up being a fruitless effort (at least so far, there is something i haven't tried yet, but I'm getting to it).

I had then checked the mods I added, and it appears that this is a possible suspect, as it said in the description in game that it "automatically turns your world into this difficulty on entering it, so no need to toggle the difficulty" (not word for word, but something like that).

I ask that in the near future to add some sort of feature to toggle the mod to effect the world or not in config or world gen or maybe even locking it behind regular masochist requirements somehow so that it will be able to effect some worlds while not effecting others, as the lack of this feature has endangered my world.

in summery, i didn't read the mod description well enough and got screwed over for it. I'm posting this to ask to do something in a future update to allow people to have the mod only effect worlds they say they want it to without having to go into the workshop to turn it on and off over and over just to go from their Masochist EX worlds to their other worlds.

my solution proposals are as follows:

>have it be able to be toggled in a mod config,

>have it be an option in the world creation menu,

>or have it be locked behind regular masochist mode.
